Our Story
Kendra and Matt’s story starts at Front Range Community College (FRCC), where they met in 2012. Kendra was in her second year and Matt was working as a lab monitor. What started as classmates quickly became a close friendship. Kendra, a Studio Ghibli fan, introduced Matt to films like Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and Kiki’s Delivery Service. Their interests led them to discover other passions like video games and cooking. As their friendship evolved into something more, Matt graduated in 2014 and Kendra followed in 2016. The couple took the next big step a year later moving into their first apartment. Their home life grew even richer with the addition of two cockapoos: Bella, a sassy golden fluffball with a cat-like attitude, and Gabe, a dark brown bundle of energy who lives for a game of fetch or licking anyone he can. Today, Kendra and Matt call Broomfield home, where they love cooking, gaming, binge-watching movies, and hosting hangouts with friends. Their life is full of laughter, love, and the kind of little moments that make everything worthwhile.
